We appreciate the assistance we have received from the following organisations:
Lloyds Bank Foundation
Lloyds Bank Foundation have assisted us in a number of significant ways including with our governance, policies, procedures and Business planning. They have also provided practical assistance through two professional business consultants, Eileen Murphy and Rosie Cribb. In addition, they have supplied laptops for the Jubilee Drop-in Centre Job Club, plus the provision of a one-off donation towards staff expenses.
The Big Lottery
In May 2018, Bethel Trust received £8950 towards the refurbishment and provision of a new kitchen, serving counter, disabled toilet and regular toilet. This enabled us to open Jubilee Drop-in Centre on August 16th 2018.
Neath Port Talbot Council for Voluntary Services
We continue to receive help and support through NPTCVS through trustee training, charity advice, and general assistance when needed.
We were delighted to receive funding from the People’s Postcode Lottery in July 2019 to fund further refurbishments and improvements in security in our premises!
We have received financial support from Catalydd this past few years which has enabled us to refurbish the main chapel hall, make provision for the establishment of the Community Shop, and general assistance in our recovery and drop-in centre work.
Welsh Church Act
We were successful in our application to the Welsh Church Act of £1000 towards the work of the charity.
We sincerely appreciate the encouragement and confidence that each of these bodies have provided to the work of Bethel Trust Port Talbot.
