Sunday worship starts 11.30am. Free lunch for all who attend after service.

Absolutely everyone is welcome!

At Bethel Community Church, our desire is twofold:

  1. To be a church where people who don’t normally go to church, love to attend.
  2. To lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Too often, church doesn’t feel like a safe place for people who feel far from God. They may experience judgment and even rejection. But that’s not what Jesus intended when he established his church. He meant for the church to be a magnet for everyone, no matter what their background, to be a place where they could find love, peace and reconciliation with God.

Bethel Community Church is a multicultural, non-denominational church for all ages that meets in Aberavon Community Centre, Michna Street, in the heart of downtown Port Talbot. The church began March 2014 with a handful of members, and has been steadily growing since. Pastor Liz Linssen has the privilege of preaching each week.

Sundays begin with a worship service at 11.30am, with classes for children. Our style is contemporary and comfortable. After service, everyone is welcome to stay for the hot and delicious free lunch that follows.

“The only time I’ve been to church is either for a funeral or a wedding. To be honest, I thought church was only for religious people. I’m so glad I found the courage to attend this church! It has really made a difference to my life. I’ve found new friends who support what I’m going through, and who pray for me when times get tough…which is a lot! And I’ve discovered that God is real.”

“I had no idea that God loved me until I came to this church.”
