From the author, Liz Linssen:

I’ve written this book because I want you to personally know and experience the incredible power and purpose of God in your life. All over the world, God is moving in miraculous ways today just as He did when Jesus lived on this earth two thousand years ago. His work has not changed – neither have our needs – yet a lack of awareness of Gods wonderful work exists today. I wrote this book to remedy that lack so that you may come to personally know and encounter the works of God in your own life just as you read about in Scripture.

Some people say the age of miracles has passed. Nonsense. I find it much harder to believe that God has ceased working in bringing healing and transformation into peoples lives than to believe He still does. It breaks my heart to see sincere Christians convinced of a  “miracle less” life, knowing how much God wants to do for them.

Whatever your Christian background or denomination happens to be, I pray this book convinces you of the power of God at work today so that you too can experience God’s love and power firsthand.

In The Nature of Faith and Miracles you will find:

  • Biblical teaching on what living by faith looks like
  • How to experience the miraculous
  • What miracles accomplish
  • True stories of miracles that I or people I know have experienced
  • Application questions for use within small group studies

According to Jesus, if we have faith as small as a mustard seed we can move mountains or move mulberry trees. In other words, all it takes is just a little bit of faith to see Gods power at work. Why then do we struggle to see that happen? The seemingly grandiose promises of Jesus can all seem so unattainable. Just how can we move mountains through faith? Should we literally believe what Jesus said and expect to receive whatever we ask for in prayer?

Because the promises of Christ can at times appear unbelievable, we subconsciously conclude either that these promises are not relevant for us today or that we don’t have enough faith. How sad. My friend, the problem isn’t the period of time we happen to live in or a lack of faith per se. God has not changed. In many nations, people are experiencing God and seeing their lives changed, bodies healed, and loved ones saved. Rather, the issue lies with a lack of understanding of what it actually means to have faith.

That is where this book comes in. Im not going to tell you that you need more faith or that miracles still happen today. I want to take you by the hand and explain what it means to live a life of faith that releases Gods power. I want to teach you how to exercise your already existing faith so that you too can experience God moving in ways that you read about in the Bible. Are you ready to embark on this journey together? Then buckle up and let’s get going.
