“Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms” (1 Peter 4:10).
Bethel Leadership College believes that training and raising up future leaders is of utmost importance here in Wales. This is why Bethel Community Church has created a ministry training programme where members of Bethel Church and other local churches can come and be nurtured and trained in the purpose God has for them.
Our intake of Bethel Leadership College students is each September, following the successful completion of the Passion for Purpose 8-week summer course. The Diploma is comprised of three emphases, namely:
- HEAD – Quality teaching in a modern and integrative learning environment
- HANDS – Field-based opportunities for tailored ministry experiences
- HEART – Mentoring to further accelerate one’s learning
The TWO YEAR Diploma program is individually tailored around your gifts, strengths and calling. The course will comprise of weekly learning, coupled with hands-on ministry experience under the tutelage of leadership.
Students will go through a foundational course together and additionally choose a specific ministry focus (maximum of two) from the following:
- Children’s Minister
- Youth Minister
- Worship Leader
- Women’s Minister
- Men’s Minister
Upon successful completion of the two year internship programme, students graduate and become qualified in their chosen ministry areas.
Individuals who wish to apply for the programme will be assessed according to gifting, integrity and maturity. Successful applicants need to have demonstrated an attitude of maturity both in their relationship with God and their relationships with others.
“I put in charge of Jerusalem my brother Hanani, along with Hananiah the commander of the citadel, because he was a man of integrity and fear God more than most men do.” (Nehemiah 7:2)
